Interviewing For a New Role

While driving for Uber for the past month, I've also been interviewing for office work via Google Meetings and Zoom. There are a lot of good roles available right now, so I have been busy.
NO URGENCY HERE
Since I am earning with Uber and curbing my spending, I am not concerned about taking the first offer. The new position I sign on to will most likely benefit me as well as my new employer.

GETTING MY HOPES UP
I recently became interested in a wonderful accounting role that I thought would be the perfect fit. I made it to the 3rd interview via Google Meetings, studied & practiced for two days (no Uber driving), and proceeded to completely choke at the interview.
MY INTERVIEW NIGHTMARE
I was nervous, but that has never bothered me before, in fact, many times a little nervousness can energize my performance for the interview. But this time, despite all of my planning, I was not on my game. It was disappointing and by the end of the interview, I was aware that I had completely blown it and had absolutely no rapport with the gentleman who I was speaking with. (This was unfortunate because the one I would have been working with mostly on the assignment seemed amazingly compatible communication-wise.)
ANALYSIS
Looking back, I can see that I had anticipated different behavioral questions. I was able to sidestep them but when I say I was not on my game, I really had a difficult time relating to one question. My brain was trying to make sense of it, scrambling and ultimately choking. It was a version of one that I had practiced and should not have thrown me, but there we were.
TAKE AWAY
It was a major disappointment and no lesson of correction, given my preparation, attention to sleep, nutrition & health. I take away the realization that even after doing all the right things, the answer is still sometimes "no". I continue to reach out to establishments that jazz me, albeit a little more humble.
