Updating My Social Media

I'm very much enjoying my new ride/share opportunity in Ann Arbor. My riders have been great and delivering food via Uber Eats is a cinch.
As I research for a new office role, my first task has been to update my LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter accounts. Hoo Boy, did they need work! If nothing else, I'm grateful for this time "between roles" to call attention to and fix this.
PROFILE PHOTOS
I immediately scheduled an appointment with a wonderful up-and-coming photographer at "Savvy Shoots" who was amazing at providing me with professional-grade profile photos. Savanna & I met at a local park where she was inspired for poses that with her direction all turned out looking wonderfully candid.
Savanna taught me a tip for emanating a natural smile. I was instructed to laugh and it worked nicely. It was fun working with Savanna and I intend to re-hire her later this summer for more outdoor profile pics.
CORRECTING BAD LINKS
In addition to putting up new photos, I discovered that many of the advertised links to my social media and websites were bogus. I wish I had monitored them better throughout the months, and I intend on doing a better job at this from now on. My Twitter account was replaced by one that I had accidentally created months ago and was not one that I would have published. I updated all of my social media and replaced the links so that now I am sure they are a better representation of who I am and add more value to the reader.
RECONNECTING WITH MY NETWORK
I have been working many hours for the last few years and have not kept up with my network of friends and associates. I am now able to re-establish those connections and spend a little more time with family & friends. It has been great. I am ever more motivated to seek out amazing companies that allow more weekend & evening personal time. The extra income from Uber, affords me that time without having to stress about paying the bills.
Last week I was able to visit with a friend and former pet owner client who had moved to Glacier Hills just before the pandemic hit. It had been difficult to meet with her and now I am finally able to see her. It was great getting together and catching up on her life there. She is still as optimistic as ever and fun and interesting to visit with.
